GSFI…

striving towards a vibrant film and media culture in the Albany

That’s our vision and this month (and every second month) we’ll be incorporating a twist to our program.

We’ll be dedicating our night at the Vancouver Cafe to local film!

Sunday May 27

VANCOUVER CAFE

Dog Rock – The Dogumentary

Dog Rock – The Dogumentary

Dog Rock is a natural “big thing” in Albany, Western Australia. This
documentary has a quirky, but affectionate look at how the locals relate
to this tourist icon, and explores the Aboriginal and European legends behind the rock.

Serious consideration is also given to some of the more exotic ideas about the rock, such as moving it. Clearly it is a rock with many stories.

Produced by Murchison River Productions (Brad Williamson, Finnian
Williamson, Will Marwick and Julian Blogg through the ABC Open).

We’ll also be screening “Behind the Scenes“.
The title of this 2 minute film speaks for itself!

Join the GSFI team for a relaxing and enjoyable night.

We’ll hear a few words from the film makers and then sit back to enjoy local film.
