Dog Rock is a natural “big thing” in Albany, Western Australia. This
documentary has a quirky, but affectionate look at how the locals relate
to this tourist icon, and explores the Aboriginal and European legends behind the rock.

Serious consideration is also given to some of the more exotic ideas about the rock, such as moving it. Clearly it is a rock with many stories.

Produced by Murchison River Productions (Brad Williamson, Finnian
Williamson, Will Marwick and Julian Blogg through the ABC Open).

We’ll hear a few words from the film makers and then sit back to enjoy local film.
